We come from a place where 0.1-0.2 ETH is the median monthly salary. And it hurts us to see our friends risking their life savings into projects, only to be rug pulled the very next day.
If you believe in our vision, you should be able to participate without risking anything, not your livelihood, not your children’s education.
We believe it’s time we normalize free mints.
We are inspired by what projects like OnChainMonkey and SmolBrains are able to accomplish with a free mint. If they can do it, we have no excuse to set a minting price.
Since Kaizen will be a free mint, royalties from secondary sales will be the only way to fund our project’s initiatives. As such, we feel an 8% royalty is appropriate and sufficient to ensure the longevity of Kaizen. Also, 8 is a lucky number in our culture, so why not?
